IMPORTANT CHANGES TO BILLING POLICY

Doctors of Coburg North is a MIXED BILLING PRACTICE .

 Dear Valued Patients,

As of 1st August 2024 , OUR CONSULTATION FEES WILL BE INCREASEd by $5 for Mixed billing consulations. 

From 1st August 2024 our fees increased by $5 to $75 for a standard consultation, $115 for a long consultation and $155 for an extended consultation, Monday to Friday.

On Saturdays, Sunday and Public Holidays, the fees increase to $85 for a standard consultation, $125 for a long consultation and $165 for an extended consultation.

Telehealth consult $75

Payment is required on the day of consult by EFTPOS, credit card and cash only.  Rebates are available through Medicare online and will be transferred to your registered bank account with Medicare within 24-48 hours. Rebates also available through the Tyro system using EFTPOs to receive your refund. If you have not registered your bank account with Medicare, please do so online at www.Medicareaustralia.com.au

If you have not received your Medicare rebate into your registered bank account within 48 hours, please call Medicare on 132 011.

We will continue to bulk bill:

Only eligible patients will be bulk billed for Medicare Rebateable Services. These patients include;
• Children under 16 years,
• Vaccinations – Influenza and kids vaccination
• Health Care Card and Pension card holders and DVA card holders
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
• Appointments made for follow up of investigation medical results

Fees will also apply to telehealth appointments as well.
Patients who do not fall into one of these categories will be charged a private fee

The clinic has ultramodern facilities in consulting rooms for GP, allied health pathology, modern treatment room for minor procedures, ECG, Spirometry and Health Assessment and a large waiting area for the patients comfort.

8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
8am to 6pm Weekends
9am to 3pm on Public Holidays

Dear Valued Patients,

It is with regret that we wish to inform you that current Medicare rebates no longer cover the increasing costs associated with providing you with high quality medical care and as a result we have had to review our billing policy. we are introducing MIXED BILLING for consultations for all doctors at the practice, 7 days a week.

This will be effective from (Tuesday) 19th April 2022.
